Questions

Buying and selling FAQ

Do you work for the buyer or the seller?

We represent one side of a deal. When you hire us as a buyer, our job is to find you the right aircraft at the right price, and to tell you when an aircraft isn't right.

What does a pre-purchase inspection cover, and do you attend?

We agree the scope with you based on the aircraft's records and inspection status. Typically that means a records review, a visual and systems inspection, engine checks or borescope, and a test flight. Our pilots and engineers are on-site for it, not just reading the report afterwards.

Can you find aircraft that aren't listed?

Yes. Many good aircraft change hands without ever being advertised. We search our network of owners, operators and maintenance shops as well as the public market.

I'm in Europe. Can you help me buy a US aircraft?

That's one of our specialties. We handle the search and inspection in the US, plan export and registration, and coordinate customs and import VAT with your advisors. See Sales tax, customs & VAT.

Do you help after the purchase?

Yes. We set up maintenance tracking, operational approvals and type rating training, so the aircraft goes into service properly.

Next step

Talk to a pilot, not a salesperson.

Tell us what you fly, what you want to fly, or what needs fixing. You'll hear back from a pilot or engineer.
